What we did

Worked across carers, older adults and coordinators to understand information sharing and accessibility needs. We translated findings into simple tablet workflows.

The project

Researcher Emily Foster worked with nine carers, six older adults and four coordinators. Accessibility sessions showed that shared visibility and plain language were more valuable than extra features. The fictional tested design reduced care-update lookup time by 52%, achieved 94% core-task success, and lowered reported caregiver confusion by 35%.

Results

Concept researcher Emily Foster tested the design with 19 participants. Core-task success reached 94% and care-update lookup time fell by 52%.
