The project
Senior researcher Michael Tan interviewed 16 procurement and finance specialists across four organisations. The study revealed approval visibility as the largest source of delay. The fictional redesign cut purchase-request completion time by 41%, reduced status enquiries by 57%, and improved the system usability score from 58 to 84.
