Website Maintenance & Content Management at Melbourne Design Studio

A neglected website becomes slower, riskier and less trustworthy. We schedule updates, backups, checks and content tasks, maintain a clear request process and report on completed work. Scope and response times are documented in the selected plan.

What’s included

Typical deliverables for website maintenance & content management. Your proposal confirms the exact scope, so you only pay for what you need.

  • CMS and plugin updates

Regular updates to your CMS, plugins and themes, tested to reduce the risk of conflicts and broken features.

  • Backups

Scheduled backups of files and databases, stored separately and checked so they can actually be restored.

  • Uptime and security checks

Monitoring that alerts us when your site goes down, plus routine checks for common security issues.

  • Content edits

Text, image and page updates handled by our team within your plan’s monthly allowance.

  • Image optimisation

Images compressed and resized so pages load faster without a visible loss in quality.

Regular scans for broken links and missing pages, with fixes or redirects applied.

  • Form testing

Contact and booking forms tested so enquiries keep arriving in your inbox.

  • Performance checks

Speed checks with practical improvements to keep your site responsive for visitors.

Do you maintain websites built by other agencies?

Usually, yes. We start with a technical health check to understand the platform, plugins, hosting and any existing issues. If something needs fixing before regular maintenance begins, we explain it and quote it separately.

Are urgent fixes included?

Coverage depends on the plan. Some plans include priority support and a set amount of time for fixes, while others cover routine updates only. We help you choose a plan that matches how critical your website is to your business.

Can you upload new content for us?

Yes, within the agreed monthly allowance. Larger content projects, such as new sections or redesigned pages, can be quoted separately.

What happens if an update breaks something?

We take a backup before updates and test key functions afterwards. If an update causes a problem, we can roll back to the previous version while we resolve it.

Is hosting included?

Hosting can be included or kept with your current provider. We can also recommend hosting if your current setup is slow or unreliable.

Can we cancel or change our plan?

The terms for changing or ending a plan are set out in your agreement. We aim to keep plans flexible so they can grow or reduce as your needs change.
