The project
Product lead Mia Thompson wanted budgeting to feel encouraging rather than restrictive. We tested simplified categories, progress-led goals and plain-language transaction insights. The fictional app achieved 68% week-four retention, helped beta users save an average of $214 in eight weeks, and increased completed savings goals by 36%.
